Ietje Jackovich, one of Gitta’s instructors, a designer and artisan herself, has always envisioned a hand crafted fabric box to store all her treasured stitching tools.  It was a design for the lid that she lacked.  Jeannette Douglas, a friend and admired designer by all of us here, was asked if she had any ideas for Ietje’s octagon shaped box.  And WOW, what a box! Gitta’s will be offering a box finishing workshop in March of 2005, please keep in touch for dates and cost.  To attend this workshop you will need to have completed a beginner box making class.  If you have never before attended such a workshop please visit our Workshop page    Ietje will be teaching the beginner box making class on Saturday, November 20th, 2004.
