Laying Tools
Laying Tools are used to ensure your threads lie flat and side by side. Ideal with all thread types, but especially used with multiple stranded (silk or cotton floss), or flat fibres (Neon Rays, Frosty Rays, and Rachel/Rachelette).
How to use: Bring needle up through canvas or fabric. Flatten the fibre onto the laying tool just above canvas with your thumb. As you stitch down through canvas hold the fibres securely with your thumb on the tool and guide them onto the canvas.
